Dulquer Salmaan and Rana Daggubati to meet fans at Dubai’s Global Village
The Tamil film cast will appear on the Main Stage this Sunday
DUBAI is set for another glittering night of stardom as Global Village, the city’s multicultural hub for shopping, dining and entertainment, welcomes the stars of the much-awaited Tamil film Kaantha.
On Sunday, at 8:30pm, fans will get the rare chance to meet Dulquer Salmaan, Rana Daggubati, Bhagyashri Borse, Samuthirakani and director Selvamani Selvaraj live on the Main Stage.
The appearance comes ahead of the film’s cinematic release on November 14, which has already generated buzz across the Indian film industry.
The event will be hosted by Hit 96.7FM’s popular RJs and is expected to draw huge crowds of movie enthusiasts and the South Indian diaspora in the UAE. Fans can look forward to an evening packed with star interactions, behind-the-scenes stories and special movie revelations from the Kaantha team. The cast will also greet fans and take part in interactive sessions that promise plenty of photo moments and surprises.

Dulquer Salmaan, celebrated for his versatility across Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi cinema, will share the stage with Rana Daggubati, known for his powerful screen presence in Baahubali and The Ghazi Attack. They will be joined by rising star Bhagyashri Borse, veteran actor Samuthirakani, and director Selvamani Selvaraj, whose period drama thriller explores friendship, fame and artistic rivalry.

Fans can catch the stars live on Sunday, 9 November 2025, at 8:30pm on the Global Village Main Stage. The event continues Global Village’s tradition of celebrity appearances, which in the past year included visits from Shah Rukh Khan, Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh and filmmaker Atlee.
